ABOUT US
OUR START
GZ was founded in 2013 by Director Greg Zaccone after 13 years working in tier 1 consultancies covering the high-end residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. Greg's approach is informed by years of professional and practical experience - working as part of a corporate team as well as on-site infrastructure work, and all the complexity that entails.
Greg's easy communication style adapts to each new client, moving effortlessly between high profile architects, large-scale infrastructure contractors, various consultants, local builders and home owners. His attention to detail and intrinsic drive to find the ultimate engineering solution ensures the best design for your project every time.
OUR TEAM
Today our team comprises structural engineers, structural drafters, an office manager and a human resources professional. Located in Sydney's Northern Beaches, GZ Consulting Engineers are passionate about the project we work on, creating an environment that encourages excellence, continued professional development, mentoring and a sustainable corporate culture.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
GZ has a philosophy of collaboration through all stages of the engineering design process, working with you, the architect/designer and eventually your builder, to reach the best engineering solution for your project. We also pride ourselves on flexibility - making changes to the engineering design where possible to suit the project's budget, time frame and construction methodology.
We offer a full range of multidisciplinary engineering design services. Our structural engineers can tackle all aspects of your project from concrete slabs, footings, timber framing, steel beams, roof structures, swimming pools and any other structural elements of your design.
Having a multidisciplinary team ensures your project's engineering design is integrated from start to finish, guaranteeing all engineers working on your project are aware of each other's needs - producing a design that is complete, buildable and the most efficient solution.
